    Good morning Team,

Alright team, We are officially in recovery mode this week. The mileage in general down this weekend which will give us the opportunity for our bodies to rest a little before our last big push before the big race. This is one of the more flat courses we run on.

It look like it might be a little warmer this weekend so be sure to start your hydration plan today so you are best prepared for tomorrow.

    See everyone in the morning.

    Important Updates

We have a few thing in the mix that I wanted to give you an update on so we are all on the same page.

    • Receiving Text Messages: It has come to my attention that some people might have had some issue receiving text messages recently. We are working with our  vender and hope to have this issue resolved soon. If you or someone you know is experiencing this you can take the following steps. If you send the work BlackFlag (no space) to 619-393-2553 you will be opted back into the system. Additional if you ever miss a post you can refer back to this link (Click) which is a full library of all of our posts for the season. This is a surefire way to make sure you never miss any information.
    • Aaron will be out of town: As you know I rarely miss our training runs but a few times a year I have a conflict. You deserve to know that I will not be at onsite for the following two training days Tue 5/2 and Sat 5/6. The club will run as planned without any interruptions however I believe we could use some additional support on Tuesday 5/2 and maybe on Saturday 5/6. If you are open to helping out that day lets talk at the next run and come up with a plan.

Shirts Arrive Thursday (The vendor missed yesterdays deadline but hoping to have them ready today - We will see)

The long awaited 2023 Spring Season shirts should be here on Thursday and if all goes to plan we will have them ready for distribution on on Saturday.

    RECOVERY?

Yes, for all of you!!!! And after 3 weeks straight of hill training, plus a few rough long runs . . . IT’S TIME FOR SOME RECOVERY!!

      Detailed Meeting Locations

This is where we will meet on Tuesday and/or Saturday. Don’t get lost :)

      Coronado, Tidelands Park

2099 Mullinex Dr, Coronado, CA 92118

Coming from San Diego over Coronado Bridge, stay in far right lane, exit Glorietta Blvd, right onto Mullinex into park, all the way to end.  We're in the far East end of the park, along the water's edge, towards the bridge.  There are restrooms and water fountains.

*This is a great run, but a busy area and limited parking.  Tidelands park can be a madhouse on Saturday mornings as there are ball fields out there and the Saturday morning soccer moms can be out in force.  If you’re not “early”, plan to park out on Mullinex Rd, or possibly even further – meaning you could be faced with a good hike, so try to get there earlier than normal.
